• Audio Files: Your audio files are temporarily sent to our third-party service provider (pyannote.ai) for speaker diarization analysis. Audio files are processed in memory and are not permanently stored by WizCut or pyannote.ai. Files are deleted immediately after processing is complete.
• Video Files: Video files may be temporarily accessed for processing but are not uploaded, transmitted, or stored by WizCut or any third party.
• Diarization Results: We store the results of speaker diarization analysis, which includes timestamps indicating when each speaker is talking ("who speaks when"). This data helps the Extension function properly and allows you to access your analysis results.
• Audio Metadata: We collect and store metadata about your audio files, including file length and duration, to provide the Extension's services.

2.2 Transcription (Optional)

If you explicitly enable the transcription feature:

• Transcripts: Audio transcriptions are processed and may be stored to provide the transcription service. This feature is opt-in only and will not occur unless you explicitly activate it.
• Control: You have full control over whether transcription is enabled. You can disable this feature at any time.

2.3 Usage Data and Telemetry

We may collect telemetry data about how you use the Extension, including:

• Feature Usage: Which features you use and how often
• Extension Performance: Loading times, processing times, and performance metrics

To be absolutely clear, WizCut does NOT permanently collect or store:

• Audio Files: Your audio files are processed but not stored
• Video Files: Your video files are never uploaded or stored
• Video Content: We do not analyze, process, or store the visual content of your videos
• Premiere Pro Project Files: Your Premiere Pro projects remain entirely on your local computer
• Transcriptions: Unless you explicitly enable the transcription feature, no transcription data is collected

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Service Operation: To provide the core functionality of the Extension, including speaker diarization and automated editing
• Product Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve features, performance, and user experience

Service: Payment processing and subscription management

6. Data Retention

We retain different types of data for varying periods:

• Audio/Video Files: Not stored — deleted immediately after processing
• Telemetry and Usage Data: Retained for up to 90 days, then anonymized or deleted

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@wizcut.com. Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, enforcing agreements).

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:
